Hull, paint, and door seals
Repainted the hull hunter green (single-stage) and worked through the small stuff that adds up: replacing every door seal with 0.062" material after the originals gave out. Also spent a while nailing down whether this 95 Sedan Cruiser is actually a shallow-keel HSV or a deep-keel LSV — chines, pilot station, and rub rail all point one way, the title says another. Still unresolved.

Cockpit roof — going aluminum
Started exploring an aluminum hard top for the cockpit roof after a suggestion from another owner. Strength-to-weight, ease of fabrication, and it grew on me fast.

New upholstery
Out with the old cruel seats, in with new upholstery — a full reupholstery project to make the cabin livable for real cruising, not just short trips.

Heat, insulation, and wiring
Rated the factory insulation poor to nonexistent — and left it that way on purpose. A fully sealed cabin traps carbon monoxide along with the heat, so the Planar diesel heater went in under the starboard gunnel, in the cockpit, outside the cabin, keeping the combustion chamber away from where anyone sleeps. Built for the PNW: fresh air in, cabin dry, no recirculating. Wiring tunnels got a look around the same time while chasing down a wiring diagram for the 94 LSV.

Navigation lights
Swapped the nav light bulbs for LEDs — barely draw any power, brighter, and they'll outlast the old ones by years.

Suzuki DF140 — chasing a telltale
No cooling telltale during trailer testing with muffs on the DF140. After enough conflicting advice from other owners, the call was to stop chasing it on the trailer and just splash the boat to see how it runs on the water.
